Dublin has always been a popular destination for golfing visitors to Ireland and, over the past few years, the selection of courses on offer has increased dramatically.
Throughout the East of Ireland, in fact, there's been an abundance of golf course development, which is great news to anyone who is visiting the area.
The likes of Portmarnock, The Island, Royal Dublin and Woodbrook have long been favourites in around Dublin but other new courses close to the capital include The K Club, St Margaret's, Druids Glen, Luttrellstown Castle and, last but certainly not least, the superb European Club, the pride and joy of owner/designer Pat Ruddy.
