Arklow Golf Club is often described as one of Irish golf's hidden gems. Arklow itself is a popular tourist destination in County Wicklow and anyone who heads there to play golf is certainly in for a treat. It's a traditional links course which was founded in 1927 and provides a superb test for players of all abilities.
Sand dunes, bunkers and large links greens ensure that visitors get a real feel of traditional links golf while, at the same time, enjoying the natural beauty of the picturesque course. The reputation of the course is shown by the fact the Irish PGA (Southern Region) Championship was held there in both 2001 and 2002. GREEN FEE KEY: €1-€15=€ €16-€30 = €€ €31-€50 = €€€ €50+ =€€€€ |
