The South County is an excellent new championship course located a mere 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre.
The course is a Nick Bielenberg design - Nick, of course, is best known as the designer of the development at Luttrellstown Castle, one of the most popular courses in the country. South County seems to be living up to his enviable reputation and it has already been acclaimed by the golfing press as one of Ireland's finest parkland courses. Even clubhouse has been designed into the setting. So much so, that it is actually built into the hillside and enjoys spectacular views of the golf course and the surrounding countryside.
