Legendary Irish golfer Des Smyth did many great things in his career as a professional golfer and will be remember for many things. He also designed an incredible number of superb golf courses, and Wexford is one of them.
Although the course was originally laid down in the very early 1960s, Smyth upgraded the course and the result of his labour is what you see today.
Wexford is a wonderful 5, 734-yard par 72 parkland golf course that can test the best and the beginner. Visitors are welcome at all times although it is advised you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
