Par three courses may not provide the same challenging round that you would expect from a modern day championship course, but, as surprising as this might sound, not all golfers want to play exacting golf all the time.
Newry golf course, situated just three miles south of the village in Co. Down and boasting wonderful views of the Mountains of Mourne, is an example of a great par three course. There are blind shots, hard-to-reach greens, and tight fairways, all of which provide for a fun-filled afternoon. Other facilities include caddie hire, bar meals, snacks, darts and snooker. The centre welcomes visitors and is open all year round. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
