Glen of the Downs is ideally located just a half hour's drive from the city centre of Dublin.
The parkland course measures 6, 443 yards from the back tees and plays much like a links course. The entire layout has been designed and built to USGA specifications with sand based greens and tees.
Major remodelling work has been done on the bunker to the left of the third green, and the two right hand fairway bunkers on the 18th. The club is pleased with the way these are turning out, and, whilst not yet in play they will, in time, provide a stern test for anyone trying to get out of them!
