This 18-hole parkland course is situated in the grounds of Ardacong House, which lies one mile north of Tuam on the main Galway to Sligo road. Founded in 1920, it was originally a nine-holer but has since been extended to 18. The new back nine is perhaps tricker than the outward stretch and, overall, the course is best described as being tough but fair. The course also has excellent drainage, making it an excellent place to visit throughout the year. Club hire is available and, once you've completed your round, you should definitely pay a visit to the 'Coffee Dock'.
