St. Patrick’s Golf Links is a 36-hole development comprising two 18-hole links courses, Maheramagorgan and Trá Mó, in the North-West part of Ireland. The two courses lie amongst the sandy hills of Sheephaven Bay, a golfing links wonderland, that adjoins the long-established Rosapenna Golf Club giving this area four 18-hole classic links courses.
Maheramogorgan was designed in 1982 by the late Eddie Hackett, perhaps the most prolific Irish golf course architect of all time, whilst Trá Mó followed 11 years later, designed by Joanne O'Haire, a former Royal Co. Down assistant professional. The courses enjoy a splendid location on the Donegal coastline and offer as true a links test of golf as you are likely to experience. Great stuff indeed.
