The Co Wicklow coastline is stunning and one of the most popular destinations for visitors is the holiday town of Bray. It is also home to Woodbrook Golf Club, without doubt one of the most picturesque golf courses in the whole of Ireland. The club was founded in 1921, though it was a few years later before it became a full 18-holer. It was considered good enough to host events such as the Irish Open and Irish Professional Championship over the years and it's no surprise at all that so many golfing visitors to the Emerald Isle include Woodbrook on their itinerary. The great thing about this course is that it can test the accomplished player but, at the same time, provide lots of enjoyment for the higher handicapper.
