This 6, 042-yard course was extended to 18 holes in 1992 and remains very popular course with golfers from the local area and further afield. With longer holes on the old nine and shorter, tighter holes on the new nine, Skibbereen has always been seen as one of the friendliest clubs in West Cork and offers a varied test for golfers. The traditionally designed course presents magnificent views of the world famous Lough Hyne and Mount Gabriel hills. The natural drainage and the exceptional mild climate due to the Gulf Stream will guarantee enjoyable golf throughout the year. |
