Located about a mile from the Ringaskiddy Ferry in Co Cork, Raffeen Creek Golf Club is part of a rare breed in that it is a cross between seaside and parkland courses. It was designed by the prolific Eddie Hackett in 1988 and the greens have been upgraded since then. Water comes into play on the course and, at 5630 yards for 18 holes, it is one of those courses where you can't help but enjoy your game of golf. It's also an excellent venue for the holiday golfer or anyone who has just taken up the game. There are no restrictions on visitors during the week, though at the weekend you can only play in the afternoon. Societies are welcome, but they have to book in advance. |
