Situated nine miles north-west of Dingle in Co. Kerry, Dingle (Ceann Sibeal) Golf Club is home of the most westerly golf course in the whole of Europe! When he re-designed Dingle (Ceann Sibeal) in 1988, Christy O'Connor Jnr declared: "It has everything St Andrews has to offer . . . and more!" As that comment indicates, it is a traditional championship links course, having been carved out of the natural landscape. A burn snakes its way through the entire course while there's an even bigger expanse of water nearby in the shape of the Atlantic Ocean. Visitors are welcome and the club has excellent clubhouse facilities. |
