Coosheen Golf Club overlooks the picturesque Schull Harbour in West Cork. It was founded in 1987 and is a pretty nine-hole parkland course. It starts with three par-3s, though the second, at 230 yards, will certainly require a different club selection to the other two! The longest hole on the course is the 417-yard par-4 fourth. Visitors are welcome every day between April and October and, if you are in the area for a while, you can buy a weekly ticket. There's an excellent restaurant and bar and, if you are in this neck of the woods, then the quainty-named Coosheen is definitely worth a visit. |
