Set amongst 170 acres of the beautiful wooded Shournagh Valley, Blarney Golf Resort is becoming one of the biggest players in the Irish golf industry.

Comprising a four-star hotel, spa, health club and much more, it is a fantastic retreat that can also attribute much of its success and growing popularity to its terrific golf course.

Co-designed by two-time ‘Major’-winner John Daly, the course meanders through almost 7,000 yards of beautiful, mature parkland and, as you might well expect, there are plenty signs of Daly’s influence, the 601-yard, par-5, eighth, for example. “This golf course has something for all players,” says the man himself. “A real championship test but also somewhere where you can have fun.”
