Situated to the south of Waterville on the road to Dungarvan, Tramore Golf Club has hosted some important tournaments over the years, including the Irish Match-play Championship. It is best described as an undulating parkland course which sits by the sea. Tramore Golf Club was founded in 1894 but moved to the site of the present course in 1939. It's a marvelous test of golf from start to finish, with many visitors over the years picking out the fourth as their best hole, though the tenth, 12th and 17th aren't far behind. Visitors are welcome every day except a Sunday and the facilities here, both on and off the course, are well up to scratch for a club of this stature.
