Templemore Golf Club

Situated quarter of a mile south of the town on the N62 road to Roscrea to Thurles sits this wonderful test of golf. Templemore is a nine-hole parkland course with great views of Devil's Bit Mountain in the background.

The club was founded in 1970 and has a thriving membership, with visiting golfers more than welcome throughout the year. The first and ninth are par fives, so it's a tough start as well as a tough finish. The course measures 5, 443 meters from the medal tees for 18 holes.

A new clubhouse was built in 1999 with downstairs mens and ladies locker rooms, toilets and showers.
