It is now a full 18 holes after being extended in 1999. It's a parkland tract which measures 6422 yards and has water in play on no less than seven holes. Callan offers a particular welcome to visiting societies, groups and individual visitors.

Societies and groups can be accommodated throughout the year, including Saturdays and there are very few prohibited days for bookings. A new clubhouse was opened in 1994 and offers excellent facilities, making a day out at Callan well worth the effort.
