Abbeyfeale Golf Club sits off the main road from Limerick to Killarney in County Killarney. It was designed by Dr Arthur Spring and is a rolling parkland course. It's a nine-hole course which measures 4389 yards for 18 holes. It has a par of 61, so it's not really a course which would seriously test the lower handicap players.
However, in a bid to make that test tougher at the weekends, the club closes its driving range to allow two holes to be extended to par-5s! It's fairly cheap to play here and you'll certainly get value for money. Clubs are available for hire but there is no catering available at the course.
