Foyle International, a parkland course situated on the outskirts of Derry City, takes full advantage of its natural setting and has been carefully designed by specialists in golf course construction. The centre opened in 1994 and was praised immediately for its USGA standard greens. There are two courses on offer to visitors, the Championship Course and the Woodlands Course. The Woodlands will test your short game to the fore and is the ideal accompaniment to the longer Championship Course. It will challenge beginners and experienced golfers alike, with water coming into play on the 6th and 7th holes, and many other strategically placed bunkers and trees. |
