Although the front nine has been in existence for only fifteen years, trees and shrubbery are well matured and will cause some golfers the occasional problem. The tight fairways of the eleventh, twelfth, sixteenth and seventeenth holes will ensure a memorable score for some.

The peacefulness of the surroundings will, however, more than compensate for any bad golf, and, as always in Ireland, a warm welcome is assured at the comfortable nineteenth hole.
