The tiny island of Bermuda reputedly offers more golf courses - nine in just 21 square miles - than any other country in the world.

Riddells Bay is one of Bermuda's oldest country clubs and has enticed golfers around the world since 1922. Winding along a peninsula measuring only 600 yards at its widest, this 5713-yard course provides a great challenge , though to play here you will need an introduction by a member or your hotel management.

Introduction by a member is also required at Mid Ocean, which was originally designed by Charles Blair Macdonald in 1921 and then modified by Robert Trent Jones in the 1950's.
Set in a lush garden estate with commanding views over the great sound, Belmont's Emmitt Devereaux-designed course, which measures just under 6000 yards and has a par of 70, makes for an enchanting round of golf.

Centrally located, the Horizons Golf Course offers the only Mashie Course on the island. With nine holes played two ways to give a full 18-hole course, Horizons is a unique venue to enjoy a game of golf.

The Fairmont Southampton Princess course is an 18-hole par-3 course which is located on the grounds of a luxurious resort.

Designed by Theodore G. Robinson, every iron in the bag being called in to play over a hilly, panoramic layout.

The challenging Ocean View course, a Government run nine-hole course, is as competitive as it is picturesque, the elevated, central location offering wide North Shore vistas.

Robert Trent Jones has taken full advantage of some of Bermuda's most stunning South Shore terrain in laying out the popular and demanding Port Royal course, another Government run, public golf course.

St George's is the newest of Bermuda's Government courses was also designed by Trent Jones. Located at the east end of the island this course is close to many cultural attractions.
At Tuckers Point, an enchanting opening hole overlooks Castle Harbour and the Atlantic beyond. Architect Charles Banks extracts the maximum challenge form hill and vale on this course.

The Bermuda Golf Academy houses a 320-yard driving range and the island's only Mini Golf Course.
